Original 1930's English House. Features established old garden with tree house and zip slide for children; secluded patio. Inside house a luxurious Double Bath- ideal for a relaxing end to the day for two people - we used to get the whole family in when they were little!. Two full-size electric Pianos and virtual recording studio ( on a PC) which you can play with at liberty. Close friendships with all neighbours and very welcoming and informal atmosphere on the street in a leafy suburb with classic Victorian architecture around. University botanical gardens 5 minutes away on a bike 15 minutes on foot. City Centre with brand new regional arts centre 15 minutes walk or 5 mins on bus from top of street. 30 mins from Rutland Water, a beautiful lake with watersports centre in picture postcard rural England. Pub only 2 minute's walk away in an adjacent street. Exclusive boutiques, fine contemporary italian restaurant and delicatessen within 2 minutes walk.

We are looking for an exchange with a likeminded family in Lille or a similar vibrant attractive town or city in northern France. We are keen to establish a long term link in order that our children can develop their French language skills (aged born 2001, 2002 they have already spent a year in a french school while we were living in Toulouse). We are looking to exchange into a network of friends and can offer the hospitality and local knowledge of our own friends, neighbours and and family here to anyone wishing to exchange with us.
